Yeah. Thing is, there was no clarification as to the clergyfolk's thoughts on sexuality overall. We're just told they're religious leaders, and it's implied they're therefore conservative and homophobic. If they ARE, then good on someone for forcing them to expand their worldview. But at least some of them are probably perfectly reasonable people. They, like most people, might not know a lot about asexuality, and they might know better than to pass judgement on something they don't know about.
